100 Students to Be Recruited for Departments of Horticulture, Green Agriculture, and Lifestyle Agriculture
Yongin City, Gyeonggi Province, is accepting applications for the 20th class of Yongin Green University and the 11th class of its graduate school, recruiting a total of 100 students until January 30, 2026.
Since 2006, Yongin City has been operating Yongin Green University and its graduate school to nurture competitive agricultural professionals and support citizens seeking a rural lifestyle, as well as those wishing to return to farming and settle in rural areas.
The number of students to be recruited by department is as follows: 30 for the Department of Horticulture, 35 for the Department of Green Agriculture, and 35 for the Department of Lifestyle Agriculture. The program runs once a week for four hours over 27 weeks, from March to November. The curriculum includes theory and practical training, as well as urban garden management, project-based learning, and field trips, utilizing a variety of educational methods.
Any citizen interested in agriculture may apply. However, only graduates of Yongin Green University are eligible to apply for the graduate school. Applicants can submit their applications in person at the city’s Agricultural Technology Center, Resource Development Division, or by email.
