This winter convergence camp was a joint convergence education program involving five universities: Hallym University, Kyungpook National University, Dongguk University, Jeonju University, and Hannam University. A total of 100 students, faculty, and project group members participated. The camp served as a platform for sharing humanities and social sciences convergence education centered on local communities and models of inter-university cooperation.

During the camp, students explored regional culture, history, and social structure from multiple perspectives through joint curriculum lectures delivered by professors from each university. They also gained firsthand experience of the value and potential of the region through extracurricular special lectures by experts in local culture, tourism, and social innovation, as well as a field trip program to local resources in Chuncheon.

In particular, students participated in activities analyzing regional issues and devising solutions based on their field trips and lectures, achieving meaningful results by strengthening their convergence thinking and collaboration skills in the humanities and social sciences.

Kim Minho, Head of the Humanities and Social Sciences Convergence Talent Development Project Group at Hallym University, stated, "This winter convergence camp demonstrated the potential of practical convergence education through inter-university cooperation and regional engagement. I hope this experience will help students newly recognize the value of their region and serve as a stepping stone for them to grow into convergence talents in the humanities and social sciences who will lead future society."
