This year's CES schedule includes Korea Broadcasting Association Chairman Bang Moon-shin, Vice Chairman Park Jangbeom (President of KBS), Vice Chairman Ahn Hyungjun (President of MBC), as well as the executive board members and heads of AI departments from each broadcasting company, who will visit the exhibition together.
The executive board began their visit by attending an official CES conference session, where National Assembly Science, ICT, Broadcasting and Communications Committee member Choi Hyungdoo participated as a global panel speaker. The session discussed the impact of AI technology across industries and society, policy responses, and the need for international cooperation.
Afterward, the executive board plans to directly examine the latest technologies and innovation cases in various fields such as AI, mobility, robotics, and media platforms. They will also engage in broad discussions on cooperation plans through exchanges with executives from major global companies.
Chairman Bang stated, "AI technology is fundamentally transforming production methods, distribution structures, and revenue models across the media industry. This association-level visit to CES will serve as an important opportunity to further develop innovative future strategies for our broadcasting industry amid the rapidly changing, AI-centered media market."
Meanwhile, Chairman Bang is scheduled to deliver a congratulatory address at the 'Next K-Wave Entertech Forum' hosted by K-Entertech Hub on January 7. The forum aims to explore the convergence potential of next-generation digital technologies and K-content, and Chairman Bang will emphasize the need for innovative collaboration models between media technology and killer content.
