The opening ceremony was attended by 79 participating students, over 40 individuals including officials from the Busan Metropolitan Office of Education, and instructors, who together marked the beginning of the winter vacation education program.

This camp is being held for 79 sixth-grade elementary school students from the Busan area, running for three weeks from January 5, 2026. To minimize learning gaps during the vacation period, the university is directly operating immersive English and math classes, character development programs, and specialized university experience activities.

Dongmyung University has utilized its outstanding human and material resources to prepare a variety of specialized programs, including: Taekwondo physical activities to start the morning; the career exploration program "TU Energy Boosters"; "TU Personal Beauty DIY"; and "TU Rhythm Studio." In addition, the camp offers a comprehensive math review tailored to different levels and English education provided entirely by native-speaking instructors, ensuring a systematic learning environment. Every Friday, outdoor activities focused on sports and career exploration are also held.

Kim Kyungmin, a researcher at the Busan Metropolitan Office of Education, said, "Based on Dongmyung University's excellent educational infrastructure, students are able to prevent learning gaps during the vacation and gain valuable opportunities to explore their dreams through immersive English and math classes and various character development programs."

Tae Dongsook, Dean of the Lifelong Education Center at Dongmyung University, welcomed the participating students, saying, "I hope this camp, which combines learning and hands-on experiences in a comfortable environment, will serve as an opportunity for students to take a step forward in their growth."
