Final Acceptance at Busan Facilities Management Corporation and Hanwha Engine
Students from the Department of Electrical Engineering at Gyeongnam Information College, known as the “representative community college of Busan,” have achieved final acceptance at public institutions under the city of Busan and large corporations.

Kim Youngju, a 30-year-old student who passed the level 7 electrical position at the Busan Facilities Management Corporation in December, is a mature student who served as the department representative. While enrolled, he obtained five national technical certifications in the electrical field, including the Electrical Engineer license, and built practical skills through participation in extracurricular programs related to secondary batteries and by winning awards in external competitions.
Won Jonghyun, who was accepted into the production technology division at Hanwha Engine, acquired qualifications such as Industrial Engineer (Electrical) and Industrial Engineer (Electrical Construction) while studying in the Department of Electrical Engineering. He enhanced his field adaptability by participating in secondary battery projects and the Capstone Design Competition.
Kim Sanghyo, Head of the Department of Electrical Engineering, stated, “These successful results are the outcome of the students’ efforts, our college’s practical, job-oriented education, and systematic career support. We will continue to focus on nurturing professional technical talent who can be immediately deployed to public institutions and large corporations.”
The Department of Electrical Engineering at Gyeongnam Information College operates a curriculum focused on obtaining national technical certifications in the electrical field.
