The "Smart Health-Up" program is being implemented to help local residents, who have relatively limited access to hospitals, clinics, and pharmacies, manage their own health. As population aging and chronic diseases are on the rise, everyday health management has become increasingly important. The program aims to improve residents' health by encouraging better lifestyle habits and to reduce health disparities between regions.

This recruitment targets frail individuals, people with chronic diseases, or local residents in need of health behavior improvement who live in towns and villages. Participants will use smart devices such as activity trackers and Bluetooth-enabled blood pressure and blood glucose monitors to track their health behaviors and receive personalized health management services.

Among these, 100 new participants will be recruited from five health centers, focusing on frail individuals, those with chronic diseases, and residents needing improvement in health management behaviors. Priority will be given to the following: ▲ seniors living alone ▲ seniors who meet at least one health risk factor ▲ seniors requiring improvement in dietary habits, physical activity, or medication management. Applications will be accepted until February 27.

Selected participants will receive non-face-to-face services such as monitoring of physical activity, blood pressure, and blood glucose, as well as health consulting, health information, health missions, and incentives. In addition, face-to-face services such as pre- and post-health screenings, training on using smart devices, and education on nutrition and physical activity will also be provided.

An official from the county stated, "Through personalized health management using smart devices, we aim to enhance the self-care capabilities of residents in areas with limited access to healthcare," adding, "We will continue to expand health promotion programs that residents can truly benefit from."
