Anseong City in Gyeonggi Province announced on January 2 that it has finalized the supply volume for the ‘Anseong 2nd Technovalley General Industrial Complex’ and will begin full-scale implementation of the project.

The industrial complex will be developed over an area of 679,665 square meters in Majon-ri, Samjuk-myeon, Anseong, with an investment of 310.7 billion won. The target for completion is 2031.


The core development concept of the complex is to establish a semiconductor ecosystem in connection with the Southern Gyeonggi Semiconductor Mega Cluster. In particular, it will be developed as a smart, eco-friendly industrial complex that actively incorporates green energy.


With the supply volume now confirmed, the city plans to accelerate administrative procedures. It will apply for approval of the industrial complex plan within this year and aims to complete the announcement of the plan approval by December next year. Construction is scheduled to begin in June 2028, with completion targeted for June 2031.


The city plans to focus on attracting future growth industries that generate high added value, such as the biohealth industry, new materials industry, advanced manufacturing industry, and electrical and electronics industry.


A city official stated, "Through the smooth implementation of the project, we will create quality jobs and establish a successful industrial complex model that revitalizes the local economy."
