To witness the first sunrise of the year, citizens walked along the Jungnangcheon and Buyongcheon streams to Singok Saebit Garden, embracing a hopeful start to the new year.
Before the main sunrise event, an exciting drum performance by the Salpan Cooperative added to the festive atmosphere, helping to cast away the misfortunes of 2025 and welcome a hopeful new year.
Following this, at the 'January 1 Mailbox Filled with Love' corner, selected letters that citizens had written over the past month to their families, friends, or themselves were read aloud, delivering a warm and touching moment.
