Jaseng Korean Medicine Hospitals Award 'Jaseng Hope Dream Scholarship' at 19 Locations Nationwide

A Total of 38 Students Receive 500,000 Won Each

Jaseng Medical Foundation announced on December 31 that it held the 'Jaseng Hope Dream Scholarship' award ceremony this month at 19 Jaseng Korean Medicine Hospitals nationwide.

Now in its 12th year, the Jaseng Hope Dream Scholarship is a social contribution program that provides scholarships to students from low-income families with outstanding academic passion in regions where Jaseng Korean Medicine Hospitals are located. Through this initiative, the foundation contributes to supporting students who face educational barriers and helps to create a healthy environment for their growth.

In particular, last year, the scholarship fund was raised through proceeds from the Jaseng Hope Dream Bazaar and voluntary donations from employees. As a result of these efforts, as of the end of December last year, a total of 647 students had received scholarships, with the cumulative scholarship amount reaching 892.3 million won.

This year's scholarship ceremony saw participation from all 19 Jaseng Korean Medicine Hospitals nationwide, with each hospital selecting two students, resulting in a total of 38 scholarship recipients. The students were recruited and screened through local social welfare organizations, and a total of 19 million won was awarded, with each recipient receiving 500,000 won. The scholarships will be used for educational expenses such as textbooks, school activities, and academy tuition.

Park Byungmo, Chairman of Jaseng Medical Foundation, stated, "We carry out this project every year to provide practical support to young people who are pursuing their dreams despite difficult circumstances," adding, "We will continue to expand various social contribution activities to support the growth of future generations."
