Hwaseong City Selects 10 Winners for SME Awards... Priority Support and Additional Points for City Policy Projects

Hwaseong City, Gyeonggi Province announced on December 31 that it has selected 10 local small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) as winners of the "3rd Hwaseong Special City SME Awards."

The awards were divided into two categories: the "SME category" and the "Small Business category." In the SME category, four companies were selected: ▲Motor Seven (overseas exports), ▲OK Logiwell (corporate management), ▲Hyundai Watertech (technological innovation), and ▲Abiman Engineering (labor-management harmony).


In the Small Business category, six companies were chosen: ▲Well Cheese (startup), ▲Hana EMS (overseas exports), ▲DMCO (corporate management), ▲Woorim Bio (technological innovation), ▲Eutteum Special Steel (labor-management harmony), and ▲One Touch (circular economy).


The city selected the recipients through a document screening process and deliberation and resolution by the SME Awards Merit Review Committee, targeting companies that have been operating in the area for at least three years.


The selected companies will receive various benefits, including priority support or additional points for city policy projects, promotional support for award-winning companies, and the presentation of a trophy and a certification plaque.


Since 2023, the city has annually selected outstanding local SMEs for the SME Awards. In 2023, six companies were selected, and last year, four companies received the award.


Jung Myung-geun, Mayor of Hwaseong, stated, "We will continue to review related policies and support systems to ensure that outstanding companies with potential can grow."
