Since 2009, the Ulleung County Branch of NH Nonghyup Bank (Branch Manager Jeong Seungwook) has consistently donated scholarships each year. On December 29, the branch delivered a scholarship fund of 15 million won to the Ulleung County Education Development Committee (Chairman Han Ikhyeon) to support educational development and foster local talent in Ulleung County.

The donation ceremony was attended by Jeong Seungwook, Branch Manager of NH Nonghyup Bank Ulleung County Branch, and Nam Hankwon, Director of the Ulleung County Education Development Committee (Ulleung County Governor), as representatives.

Jeong Seungwook, Branch Manager of NH Nonghyup Bank Ulleung County Branch, stated, "As a financial institution that aims for mutual growth with our customers while receiving the love of the local community, we are committed to continuously donating scholarships to contribute to the region. I hope this scholarship serves as a small but meaningful encouragement to local students. In response, Nam Hankwon, Director of the Ulleung County Education Development Committee, expressed his gratitude, saying, "I sincerely thank the Ulleung County Branch of NH Nonghyup Bank for consistently donating scholarships every year over a long period. The Ulleung County Education Development Committee will also continue to strive so that scholarship programs for nurturing local talent can become the foundation for a brighter future for our community."

In addition, NH Nonghyup Bank Ulleung County Branch announced that, following its support for the Ulleung County Education Development Committee, it will continue to donate scholarships to the Ulleung County Talent Development Foundation, which plans to officially begin its scholarship program in 2026, in order to further foster local talent.
