"Reestablishing the Association's Status
and Advancing as a Stronger Organization"
Chang-sook Park, Chairwoman of the Korea Federation of Women Entrepreneurs, emphasized, "As the only legally recognized women's economic organization in Korea representing 3.37 million women-owned businesses and 90,000 certified women-owned enterprises in 2026, we will reestablish the association's status and move forward as a stronger organization."
In her New Year's address on December 30, Chairwoman Park stated, "2026 marks the 27th anniversary of the association's founding, and the next three years will be a crucial period that will determine the future of the association."

Reflecting on 2025, she said, "For the first time among government ministries, we secured a budget for the 'Femtech Industry Development' project, and it is a meaningful achievement that this project has been newly included in the Ministry of SMEs and Startups' Women Entrepreneurs Development Program." She also assessed, "The First Lady's attendance at the opening ceremony of the 4th Women Entrepreneurs Week elevated the social standing of women entrepreneurs to a new level."
She added, "The association expanded its reach by establishing the Gyeonggi Eastern and Gyeongbuk Eastern branches and surpassing 11,000 members. We also actively engaged in charitable activities, such as delivering donations and supplies worth 517 million won to large-scale wildfire-affected areas in Gyeongbuk and supporting medical expenses for low-income cancer patients."
For 2026, she presented five major tasks: ▲ Leading future growth engines (fostering the femtech industry and restructuring the Future Women Entrepreneurs Development Program); ▲ Strengthening the fundamentals and CEO capabilities of women-owned businesses (global frontier and ADX education); ▲ Building a growth ecosystem through 'connection and expansion' (expanding cooperation with government, public institutions, associations, and large corporations); ▲ Operating a member-centered association (junior board and strengthening networking by industry); ▲ Improving the operational system for harmony and integration (revising articles of association and regulations, and enhancing fairness and transparency).
Chairwoman Park stated, "This year is the Year of the Red Horse, and like a red horse galloping powerfully across the vast plains, we will open up a greater future for women entrepreneurs with passionate enthusiasm and strong drive."
