Guri Urban Corporation (hereinafter referred to as the Corporation) has completed the establishment of its '2025-2029 Mid- to Long-Term Financial Management Plan' to lay the foundation for sustainable management, and has begun strengthening its systematic risk management.
The Corporation held the final report meeting on the expansion of risk management and the establishment of the mid- to long-term financial management plan on the 19th, with external accounting experts participating. At this meeting, the Corporation finalized risk management strategies for each scenario, along with financial projections for the next five years.
To enhance the sophistication and expertise of its risk management system, the Corporation has institutionalized the 'Financial Risk Management Expansion Meeting' with external experts, to be held three times a year. Through this initiative, the Corporation has established an objective decision-making system that regularly analyzes key financial indicators such as stability and profitability, and prepares company-wide response plans to address changes as they arise.
The mid- to long-term financial management plan includes a phased funding strategy aligned with the roadmap for major development projects, minimizing uncertainties that may arise during the implementation of large-scale projects. The Corporation also plans to establish a virtuous cycle by reinvesting future profits into regional development.
A representative of the Corporation stated, "We will do our utmost to ensure financial soundness through a systematic risk management system and to lead the development of Guri City as a trusted public enterprise for our citizens."
