The Gwangju Community Chest of Korea (hereinafter referred to as Gwangju Sarangui Yeolmae) announced on the 29th that Choi Yoonkyung, CEO of Gongyoung Industry Co., Ltd., donated 10 million won to support the children of Yojin Childcare Center in having a warm winter.
The donation ceremony took place on the 23rd at Yojin Childcare Center in Gwangsan-gu, Gwangju, and was attended by Choi Yoonkyung, CEO of Gongyoung Industry Co., Ltd.; Park Sehwan, CEO of Daeyoung Construction Co., Ltd.; Park Heungcheol, Secretary General of Gwangju Sarangui Yeolmae; Min Jaewoong, Director of Yojin Childcare Center; and other related officials.
This donation will be delivered through Gwangju Sarangui Yeolmae as a designated contribution, and the entire amount will be used to promote social welfare projects at Yojin Childcare Center and to improve the living environment of the children.
CEO Choi Yoonkyung has consistently engaged in various charitable activities, such as donating to the Chonnam National University development fund, supporting the welfare blind spots in Boseong County, and providing living expenses for low-income and marginalized groups, together with her spouse, Park Hyunkyoo, Chairman of DYJ Holdings Co., Ltd. In addition, along with her child, Park Sehwan, CEO of Daeyoung Construction Co., Ltd., the three family members are members of the "Gwangju Honor Society," a group of individual major donors who have contributed over 100 million won, contributing to the development of the local community.
CEO Choi Yoonkyung stated, "I decided to make this donation in the hope that the children can spend a warmer and more stable winter, even if just a little," and added, "I will continue to share and give back to the local community in the future."
