The Daejeon Metropolitan Office of Education held the "2026 Elementary After-School and Care Policy & Hub-type Neulbom Center Project Briefing" for all elementary school principals in Daejeon over two days, December 24 and 26, at Hotel Intercity.


This briefing, organized by the Elementary Education Division of the Daejeon Metropolitan Office of Education, focused on explaining new changes to the elementary after-school and care policy that will be implemented in the 2026 academic year.


In addition, the event provided an introduction to the hub-type Neulbom Center, which is being promoted as part of the Daejeon Education Development Special Zone project, as well as information on program operations.

With this project briefing as a starting point, the Daejeon Metropolitan Office of Education plans to actively communicate with schools regarding the operation of elementary after-school and care programs and hub-type Neulbom Centers for the 2026 academic year, aiming to provide policies and programs that satisfy students, parents, and schools alike.


Cho Seongman, Director of the Elementary Education Division at the Daejeon Metropolitan Office of Education, said, "We will continue to communicate and cooperate with schools to further develop elementary after-school and care education policies."
