Sampyo Group Holds Q4 Executive Safety Session... Sets 'Safety Maturity 3.0' as Next Year's Goal

The executive safety session was held on December 16 at the Babien 2 Training Center in Jung-gu, Seoul. Sampyo Group declared its safety slogan for the coming year as "Safety Together, Valuable Partnership." This slogan goes beyond merely preventing accidents; it reflects the company's commitment to strengthening safety capabilities in collaboration with partner companies and realizing corporate social value through these efforts.

The subsequent meeting included a review of this year's safety activities. Sampyo Group evaluated that it achieved tangible results this year, such as a reduction in lost time injuries (LTI). However, the company determined that improving the safety standards of partner companies is essential for genuine safety management.

Accordingly, Sampyo Group set the following as its key goals for next year: entry into Safety Maturity Level 3.0 (Independent Stage) and achieving zero industrial accidents based on mutual growth with partner companies. Safety Maturity Level 3.0 refers to a stage where an 'independent safety culture' is established, with members proactively practicing safety beyond system-based management.

To this end, Sampyo Group has made mutual growth with partner companies its top strategic priority. The company plans to elevate the safety capabilities of its partners to the level of headquarters through joint inspections involving top management and systematic support programs.

A Sampyo Group representative stated, "Next year will be a pivotal year for Sampyo, as we move beyond system standardization to establish a people-centered safety culture. All employees will demonstrate leadership to realize 'Safety Together' and, together with our partners, create a workplace free of accidents."
