Changwon Sanho-dong House Fire ... Male Tenant in His 60s Dies

At around 3:25 a.m. on December 25, a fire broke out on the first floor of a two-story detached house in Sanho-dong, Masanhappo-gu, Changwon-si, Gyeongnam.

Due to the fire, a male tenant in his 60s was found in cardiac arrest inside a room and was transported to the hospital, but was ultimately pronounced dead at around 4:35 a.m. that day.

The fire burned about 1 square meter of the first-floor house and household goods, causing property damage estimated at approximately 1.5 million won according to the fire department, before extinguishing itself.

The police and fire authorities are conducting a joint investigation to determine the exact cause of the fire and the cause of death.
