Secured a Special Grant of 130 Million Won
Ansan City in Gyeonggi Province announced on the 24th that it has been selected as an "Outstanding Organization," the highest rating, in the "2025 Disaster Management Evaluation" hosted by the Ministry of the Interior and Safety.

This evaluation is conducted annually by the Ministry of the Interior and Safety to enhance accountability and response capabilities in disaster management, targeting 340 organizations nationwide, including central government agencies, local governments, and public institutions.
This year's evaluation assessed performance in six areas of disaster safety management-common, prevention, preparedness, response, recovery, and bonus/penalty points-based on last year's implementation, and classified organizations into three ratings: outstanding, average, and insufficient.
The city explained that it received high marks for establishing the Ansan-style citizen safety model, building a public-private partnership prevention system, strengthening proactive safety management in vulnerable areas, enhancing rapid on-site response capabilities during disasters, conducting inspections to prepare for natural disasters, disaster preparedness training performance, and the participation of institutional heads in intensive safety inspections.
With this award, Ansan City has been selected as an outstanding organization for five consecutive years, and secured a special grant of 130 million won along with a commendation from the Minister of the Interior and Safety.
