Pukyong National University Achieves Top Grade 1 in Comprehensive Integrity Assessment, Ranks First Among 16 National and Public Universities

Results of the Comprehensive Integrity Assessment by the Anti-Corruption and Civil Rights Commission

Pukyong National University (President Bae Sanghoon) ranked first in the comprehensive integrity assessment among 16 national and public universities nationwide.

Pukyong National University announced on the 24th that it was the only institution among the 16 national and public universities to receive the highest Grade 1 rating in the '2025 Comprehensive Integrity Assessment of Public Institutions' released by the Anti-Corruption and Civil Rights Commission on the 23rd.

Excluding 2024, when there was no evaluation for national and public universities, Pukyong National University has continuously received the top Grade 1 rating for comprehensive integrity in both 2022 and 2023, earning recognition for its efforts to promote a culture of integrity and a strong commitment to ethical practices.

Pukyong National University received excellent evaluations in all areas, including perceived integrity among external stakeholders and internal members, the institution's integrity initiatives, and the status of corruption.

The university achieved the highest Grade 1 rating exclusively in key evaluation areas such as contract management, research, and administration, demonstrating top-level performance across all major assessment categories.

This year, the Anti-Corruption and Civil Rights Commission conducted a comprehensive integrity assessment of 709 public institutions, applying a separate model to evaluate the 16 national and public universities with an incoming freshman quota of 2,500 or more.
