On December 23, Kosdaq-listed company Enchem announced that it will invest approximately 59.9 billion KRW in Shidai Sikang New Materials, a Chinese company specializing in research and development of new materials for lithium batteries, as well as the manufacturing of electrolytes and electrolyte additives.
After the investment, Enchem will hold a 100% stake in the company.
