New Team Established Under Consumer Protection Office
Hanwha General Insurance announced on the 22nd that it held a 'Financial Consumer Protection Declaration Ceremony' at the Hanwha General Insurance Life Campus on the 19th and significantly strengthened its consumer protection system.

The ceremony was attended by key executives and employees, including CEO Na Chaebum, and was organized to reaffirm the company's commitment to making consumer rights protection its top priority.
Hanwha General Insurance plans to further strengthen internal controls by forming a task force to proactively implement best practices for financial consumer protection governance as recommended by financial authorities.
In addition, the company newly established a 'Financial Consumer Protection Charter,' which includes five codes of conduct such as providing suitable financial products and services and preventing financial accidents through enhanced internal controls.
To expand its consumer protection role, Hanwha General Insurance recently changed the name of its related department from 'Customer Service Office' to 'Consumer Protection Office' and promoted the Chief Consumer Officer (CCO) position from Executive Director to Vice President. The company also established a Customer Service Team under this department to further strengthen its consumer policy and rights protection functions.
The company will also enhance its support service for voice phishing victims. Anyone, regardless of whether they are a Hanwha General Insurance customer, can access the consultation service. Efforts to prevent incomplete sales will also be strengthened. Hanwha General Insurance is building a data-driven monitoring and analysis system to identify potential risks in the sales process in advance.
