RM: "I Hope the Company Will Show Us More Affection"
On the 21st, RM, the leader of BTS, said during a Weverse Live broadcast, "2026 will be the year of BTS," and added, "Something really big is coming."
This year, all BTS members completed their military service one after another, and the group is currently preparing a new album in the United States and other locations, aiming for a full-group comeback in the spring of next year. J-Hope said, "I can't believe 2025 is already almost over," and added, "Next year will be a very important time for us."
The members revealed, "We finished recording several months ago and have been making revisions since then." They also expressed some frustration about not being able to share much information this year. Jungkook said, "There have been long periods when we were doing something but couldn't talk about it." Suga commented on the timing of their comeback, saying, "There will be news soon."
RM said, "I hope the company will show us a bit more affection. I wish they would take better care of us." Other members also said, "I wish next year would come quickly," and "The wait feels too long."
Previously, on a solo live broadcast on the 6th, RM also said, "I hope they will speed up the announcement of our comeback." At that time, he shared, "I have thought countless times about whether it is right to pause or end the team," and added, "The reason I keep going is because of the members and the fans." Regarding the lack of group activities in the second half of the year, he said, "There are reasons, but I am not authorized to explain them."
BTS plans to release a new album in the spring of next year and resume group activities, including a world tour.
