Christmas-Themed Experience Event Offered
Bugsrium, the insect exhibition and experience center in Siheung, Gyeonggi Province, will host "Heunggoni's Gift" Season 4 for four days from December 25 to December 28.
This program is designed for children and families to celebrate Christmas, featuring play, hands-on, and mission-based content.
During the event, two new programs will be introduced for children to participate in: ▲Catch 12.25 Seconds! ▲Heunggoni's Golden Coin Hunt.
"Catch 12.25 Seconds!" is a reflex-focused experience inspired by Christmas Day, December 25. Participants who successfully complete the mission of timing exactly 12.25 seconds will receive an insect block and a doll of "Haerotoro," the mascot of Siheung City.
"Heunggoni's Golden Coin Hunt" is an exploration-based activity where participants search for golden coins hidden throughout Bugsrium and complete missions to receive gifts.
Additionally, there will be special exhibitions of butterflies and clown bugs to preview winter, as well as displays of endangered species such as the two-spotted stag beetle and diving beetle.
The program will run in two sessions: from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., and from 1:30 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. For more information, inquiries can be made through the Bugsrium website or the Agricultural Technology Department at the Siheung Agricultural Technology Center.
