Air Busan Surpasses 200,000 YouTube Subscribers... "Hosting Unprecedented Events"

“New Flight Attendant’s First Flight” Video Gains Popularity
Channel Achieves 89 Million Cumulative Views

Air Busan (CEO Jung Byungsub) announced on December 22 that its official YouTube channel has reached 200,000 subscribers.

The Air Busan official YouTube channel has uploaded a total of 308 videos to date, continuously expanding its connection with customers. With differentiated content tailored to the aviation industry, such as aviation information and knowledge, as well as introductions to flight attendants’ work and duties, the channel has steadily gained popularity, reaching a cumulative view count of approximately 89 million.

The achievement of 200,000 subscribers was largely driven by the “New Flight Attendant’s First Flight” video uploaded on December 12.

This video recorded 520,000 views within just three days of its release, significantly boosting the influx of new subscribers. In particular, the scene where the parents make a surprise appearance to support the new flight attendant on their first flight resonated with viewers and received an enthusiastic response, resulting in more than 70% of the average monthly subscriber increase occurring in just three days.

To celebrate reaching 200,000 YouTube subscribers, Air Busan has prepared a variety of customer benefits. From 11:00 a.m. on December 22 to December 31, passengers who book through the Air Busan website or web/app will receive a total of 4,000 coupons, including a 20,000 KRW discount on international flight tickets.

During the same period, a prize draw event will also be held on the YouTube channel. Subscribers who leave a comment on the community post will be entered into a draw to win: ▲10 round-trip international flight tickets ▲10 round-trip domestic flight tickets ▲10 sets of EBU & Luvly plush dolls ▲20 Air Busan Oxford Blocks.

Further details on the event can be found on the Air Busan website or mobile web/app.

An Air Busan representative stated, "We are delighted to communicate more closely with our customers and share various experiences and information about aviation through our YouTube channel," adding, "We will continue to strive to provide enjoyable and useful information to our customers with fresh and sincere content."

The Air Busan YouTube channel surpassed 100,000 subscribers in March last year, becoming the first among domestic low-cost carriers to receive the Silver Button.
