The Banryeomaru Homecoming Day was organized to foster a warm companion animal community through interaction and communication among adoptive families, and to promote the spread of a responsible pet culture.

This Homecoming Day event was attended by more than 200 families and their adopted dogs from Banryeomaru Yeoju, and was also broadcast live via the Gyeonggi Live YouTube channel. Over 450 additional adoptive families who could not attend due to space limitations shared their stories and strengthened their bonds through comments and participation in online events.

The program included a variety of engaging activities, such as the "You Are My Destiny" adoption story contest, the "You Are My Pride" pet dog fashion show where dogs and their owners walked the runway together, a talk concert with experts on the topic of healthy living for companion animals, as well as a Banryeomaru dog dance demonstration, paw print guestbook signing, and an instant photo studio.

Lee Kangyoung, Director of the Livestock and Animal Welfare Bureau of Gyeonggi Province, said, "It was a unifying event where Banryeomaru adoptive families could empathize with each other's stories and feel a sense of warm solidarity," adding, "Gyeonggi Province will continue to lead a proper pet culture through various programs involving adoptive families, volunteers, and participants in educational activities."

Meanwhile, over the past year, 265 abandoned animals found new families through adoption at Banryeomaru Yeoju in Gyeonggi Province.
