Seohui Construction announced on the 8th that it has signed a contract with the Yamok Regional Housing Association for the construction of a new apartment complex.
The contract amount is 266.6326 billion won, which accounts for 18.09% of the company's recent sales. The contract period runs from June 30, 2026, to November 30, 2029.
Through this contract, Seohui Construction (Chairman Lee Bonggwan) will officially commence the full-scale construction of "Yamok Station Seohui Starhills."
"Yamok Station Seohui Starhills" will be developed in the Gupo-ri area of Hwaseong, Gyeonggi Province. The complex will consist of 11 buildings, each with three basement levels and 29 above-ground floors, totaling 975 units. There will be five types of units, with exclusive areas ranging from 59 square meters to 84 square meters, catering to actual end-user demand.
The complex is designed with a south-facing orientation and wide spacing between buildings to maximize natural light and ventilation. A harmonious mix of flat and tower-style buildings will also ensure optimal views. The interior design will feature maximized storage spaces such as dressing rooms and pantries, as well as various selectable options including a premium kitchen, entrance sliding doors, and adjustable partition walls.
A neighborhood park will be established near the complex, along with a central plaza, walking trails, community sports facilities, and a children's playground. In addition, resident-exclusive community amenities such as a fitness center, GX room, golf practice range, and a small library will also be provided.
Meanwhile, Seohui Construction ranked 16th in the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport's "2025 Construction Company Construction Capacity Evaluation" announced in July, recording a civil engineering and architectural construction capacity of 2.8774 trillion won. This represents a two-place rise from the previous year.
This construction capacity evaluation was conducted for approximately 70,000 construction companies nationwide, comprehensively assessing construction performance, financial status, technical capability, and credibility. The results serve as a reference for clients when selecting suitable construction companies. Seohui Construction's construction capacity has shown steady growth, rising from 2.3979 trillion won in 2023 to 2.6707 trillion won in 2024, and to 2.8774 trillion won this year.
Seohui Construction is also accelerating its internal improvements to strengthen business continuity, financial soundness, and management transparency. A Seohui Construction representative stated, "In addition to the stable execution of our existing order backlog and regional housing association projects, we will expand new orders, including public sector contracts, to reinforce our foundation for mid- to long-term growth."
