Seohee Construction announced on the 8th that it has signed a contract with the Yamok Area Housing Cooperative for the construction of a new apartment complex.
The contract amount is 266.6326 billion won, which accounts for 18.09% of the company's recent revenue. The contract period runs from June 30, 2026, to November 30, 2029.
Through this contract, 'Yamok Station 2nd Lumiel Starhills,' to be constructed by Seohee Construction (Chairman Lee Bonggwan), is expected to officially commence full-scale construction.
'Yamok Station 2nd Lumiel Starhills' will be developed in the Gupo-ri area of Hwaseong, Gyeonggi Province, consisting of 11 buildings with three basement levels and 29 above-ground floors, totaling 975 units. The exclusive area will be offered in five types, ranging from 59 square meters to 84 square meters, to meet the needs of actual residents.
The complex is designed with a south-facing orientation and wide spacing between buildings to enhance sunlight and ventilation. It harmoniously combines plate and tower layouts to maximize views. The interior design will maximize storage space with features such as dressing rooms and pantries, and will offer a variety of optional features, including a premium kitchen, entrance sliding doors, and adjustable wall partitions.
A neighborhood park will be created near the complex, along with various landscaping facilities such as a central plaza, walking trails, fitness facilities for residents, and a children's playground. In addition, resident-only community facilities such as a fitness center, GX room, golf practice range, and a small library will also be provided.
Meanwhile, Seohee Construction ranked 16th in the '2025 Construction Company Construction Capability Evaluation' for civil engineering and building construction, announced by the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport in July. The company recorded a construction capability evaluation amount of 2.8774 trillion won, up two places from the previous year.
This construction capability evaluation was conducted for approximately 70,000 construction companies nationwide, comprehensively assessing construction performance, financial status, technical capability, and credibility. It serves as a reference for project owners in selecting appropriate construction companies. Seohee Construction's evaluation amount has steadily increased from 2.3979 trillion won in 2023, to 2.6707 trillion won in 2024, and to 2.8774 trillion won this year.
Seohee Construction is also accelerating organizational improvements to enhance business sustainability, financial soundness, and management transparency. A representative from Seohee Construction stated, "In addition to the stable execution of our existing order backlog and regional housing cooperative projects, we will expand new orders such as public works to strengthen our foundation for mid- to long-term growth."
