BNK Busan Bank (President Bang Sungbin) received the highest honor, the Education Mecenat Award, at the "18th Education Mecenat Award Ceremony 2025" held at the Busan Metropolitan Office of Education on the afternoon of December 18.

The Education Mecenat Award Ceremony is a representative regional award for educational contributions, jointly organized by the Busan Metropolitan Office of Education, Busan Metropolitan City, Busan Chamber of Commerce and Industry, and Busan Ilbo. Every year, it recognizes individuals and organizations that have contributed to the advancement of local education and the spread of a culture of educational giving.
Busan Bank has been recognized for its ongoing educational donation activities, such as scholarship support, book donation projects, and financial education programs, which have contributed to the development of local education. As a result, the bank has received the Education Mecenat Award for 18 consecutive years since 2008, setting a record for the most awards in the event's history.
The bank received high praise for consistently operating customized educational support and systematic financial education programs tailored to the growth stages of youth and students, as well as for implementing an educational donation model that grows alongside the local community.
