Dongshin University announced on December 19 that the Department of Sports Science held the 1st University Student Academic Conference.

The academic conference, recently held at Together Hall in Daejeong Building 3, was organized under the theme of "Sports and AI." The event aimed to examine the evolving trends in the sports sector in the AI era and to foster future sports professionals by integrating academic majors with new technologies.

This program was conducted as part of the department specialization project based on convergence education, supported by the University Innovation Support Project.

The Department of Sports Science at Dongshin University has been selected for the university's specialization project for five consecutive years. Presentations covered a variety of topics, including sports coaching and sports psychology, reflecting trends in the sports industry and emerging future industries. Out of a total of 12 applicants, 6 advanced to the finals. After on-site presentations and evaluations, winners were selected in six categories: Grand Prize, Excellence Award, Gold Prize, Silver Prize, Bronze Prize, and Encouragement Award.
