Daedong Hospital (Director: Lee Gwangjae) ranked fifth among 709 institutions nationwide in the '2025 Integrated Nursing Care Service Performance Evaluation' organized by the National Health Insurance Service, earning the highest rating of S grade.
The integrated nursing care service is a system in which professional staff-comprising nurses, nursing assistants, and ward support personnel-provide 24-hour nursing and caregiving services to inpatients without the need for guardians or private caregivers to be present.
The National Health Insurance Service evaluates the performance of integrated nursing care services based on assessment indicators such as: ▲ participation rate in the integrated nursing care service ▲ proportion of experienced nurses ▲ completion rate of nursing needs education ▲ availability of safety accident prevention equipment ▲ regular employment rate of nursing staff and direct employment rate of caregiving support staff. Based on these results, the Service provides incentives to improve working conditions for nursing staff and to encourage the provision of high-quality inpatient services.
The S grade, awarded only to the top 5% of institutions, is the highest evaluation grade newly established in 2024. Daedong Hospital achieved the remarkable feat of earning the S grade for the second consecutive year, following last year’s recognition.

Daedong Hospital continues to receive high marks across all aspects of integrated nursing care services, including being recently selected as a second-term panel hospital for the integrated nursing care service by the National Health Insurance Service, and is recognized externally for its patient-centered medical service capabilities.
