Year-End Special Additional Benefits
On December 18, Renault Korea announced that it will provide its own subsidy of 8 million won to alleviate the increased financial burden on customers caused by the exhaustion of government subsidies for electric vehicles.
This amount corresponds to the national average of the total government and local subsidies that could be received by region when purchasing the electric vehicle 'Scenic E-Tech 100% Electric.'
Additionally, the special support for the Scenic is being expanded up to a maximum of 7 million won, and a new six-year interest-free installment plan is being introduced.
Customers who have previously purchased a Renault Korea vehicle as a new car, or who currently own one, will receive an additional 500,000 won as loyalty customers. The maximum total benefit can reach up to 15.5 million won.
For those using Renault Korea's partner installment plan (MFS), instead of the direct electric vehicle subsidy, the company will offer a six-year interest-free installment plan and a special electric vehicle benefit of 5 million won. Furthermore, for Renault Korea loyalty customers, an additional partner installment benefit of 300,000 won is added, bringing the total benefit to 800,000 won.
The Scenic E-Tech, produced in France and imported for sale in the Korean market, is an electric vehicle featuring elegant design, premium specifications, and the most spacious interior in its class. The 'Solarbay Panoramic Sunroof' adds a touch of luxury, while the dedicated 'AmpR Medium' platform from Renault Group's electric vehicle subsidiary Ampere provides a maximum output of 160kW (218ps) and a peak torque of 300Nm, delivering dynamic driving performance.
It is also equipped with an 87kWh high-performance NCM battery from LG Energy Solution, enabling a maximum range of 460 kilometers based on Ministry of Industry certification standards. Safety is further enhanced with the patented 'Fireman Access' technology for battery fire response. Last year, it was awarded 'European Car of the Year' and 'Car of the Month for September' by the Korea Automobile Journalists Association.
Reflecting these special benefits and eco-friendly vehicle tax support, the Scenic can be purchased without government or local subsidies at the following prices (based on the reduced individual consumption tax): Techno from 37,036,000 won, Techno Plus from 40,356,000 won, and Iconic from 44,996,000 won.
Meanwhile, Renault Korea is offering its largest purchase benefits this year, including the 'Double Individual Consumption Tax Benefit' of up to 1.6 million won per model in December, when the individual consumption tax reduction is applied for the last time.
