The Busan Regional Public Procurement Service has launched on-site communication efforts by visiting local small and medium-sized enterprises to explore ways to support market access.

On December 18, the Busan Regional Public Procurement Service visited Panotech, a company specializing in building automation systems located in Sasang-gu, Busan, to tour the production line and listen to the company's challenges.

Since its establishment in 1999, Panotech has continued its technology development, obtaining various certifications such as New Technology (NeT) and Good Software (GS). In 2019, it was designated as an Excellent Procurement Product by the Public Procurement Service and has since grown in the public procurement market.

This visit was organized to seek ways to support local SMEs in expanding their market access and to identify and improve unnecessary regulations based on on-site feedback.

Shin Bongjae, Chief of the Busan Regional Public Procurement Service, emphasized, "Trust in public procurement increases when products with excellent technology and quality are supplied stably within a fair procurement environment."

Chief Shin added, "We will continue our field-oriented procurement administration by actively discovering local companies with technological competitiveness and ensuring that voices from the field are reflected in procurement policies."
