2025 Seoul Night for Disabled Athletes
Coway announced on December 18 that Kim Youngmoo, head coach of the Coway Bluewheels wheelchair basketball team, received a commendation from the Mayor of Seoul at the '2025 Seoul Night for Disabled Athletes' held at the Peace & Park Convention in Yongsan-gu, Seoul.

Hosted by the Seoul Sports Association for the Disabled, this event recognized the achievements of athletes, coaches, and officials who contributed to the development of sports for the disabled in Seoul over the past year. More than 240 stakeholders in disabled sports in Seoul attended the event, which was further highlighted by commendations for those who made significant contributions to the advancement of sports for the disabled.
The Coway Bluewheels is the only professional wheelchair basketball team in Korea operated by a private company, founded by Coway in 2022. Since its inception, the team has achieved outstanding results in various tournaments and leagues, contributing to the promotion of sports for the disabled and the expansion of employment opportunities for people with disabilities. Last year and this year, the team swept major domestic tournaments, achieving a grand slam for two consecutive years.
Coach Kim, a former national wheelchair basketball player, was recognized for his leadership and expertise, which have helped improve the team's performance and broaden the base of the sport, earning him this commendation.
Coach Kim stated, "This commendation is the result of the combined efforts of the players, coaching staff, and Coway's support," adding, "I will continue to do my best as a coach so that the players can perform at their highest level."
