The "Personalized Health Management Service Utilizing Chronic Disease Communities" is a community-based healthcare service that integrates and manages individuals' health data and allows users to directly determine how their data is utilized. Users can manage data from continuous glucose monitors, dietary records, and exercise in one place, and share experiences with other community members to encourage ongoing lifestyle improvements. The service features clear consent procedures, selective data provision, and the ability for users to download their personal data, fully incorporating the core functions of MyData.
For this project, Handok provided glucose data from its continuous glucose monitor, Barozen Fit, to the MyData system via API, supporting the creation of a service environment where users can understand their health status and consistently manage their health based on their own data. The Catholic University of Korea Industry-Academic Cooperation Foundation offered professional consultation by providing medical Q&A and health content, while the Korea Type 1 Diabetes Association contributed to building a community-based participation structure by recruiting participants and operating a self-help network.
Handok Chairman Youngjin Kim said, "Through this project, we have confirmed that Handok's digital healthcare solutions, including Barozen Fit, can be utilized as real services within the MyData environment," adding, "Handok will continue to expand its patient-centered digital healthcare business through collaboration with various digital healthcare partners."
