On December 18, the Seoul Metropolitan Government announced that the 19th Urban Planning Committee had approved, with modifications, the proposal to designate and establish the maintenance plan for the “Urban Redevelopment Zone for the Station Area Revitalization Project around 393-66 Daebang-dong, Dongjak-gu.”
The project site is a residential area with excellent accessibility to Gasan·Daerim and Sadang·Isu, as it is adjacent to Sindaebang Samgeori Station on Line 7 and Sangdo-ro. Under this plan, a 39-story apartment building with 779 units, neighborhood living facilities, and office spaces will be constructed on a total floor area of 127,000 square meters.

With the upgrade of land use zoning, a public postpartum care center and an integrated educational support center will be built as public contributions. These facilities are expected to further strengthen the provision of daily convenience and public services that address the low birth rate and meet the educational needs of various age groups.
To create a pedestrian-oriented street, an escalator will be installed at Exit 5 of Sindaebang Samgeori Station, and public open spaces and rest areas will be provided along pedestrian walkways. A 6-meter-wide public pedestrian passage will be constructed adjacent to Daerim Elementary School, and 3- to 5-meter-wide setback open spaces will be created around the project site.
A Seoul city official stated, "Through this project, the area around the site is expected to be further strengthened as a local living hub centered on Sindaebang Samgeori Station, injecting new vitality into regional revitalization."
