Agreements Signed with Youth Centers, Shelters, and Counseling Centers
Fostering Field-Oriented Professional Talent
The Department of Counseling and Clinical Psychology at Dongmyung University, led by Professor Kim Minjeong, recently signed industry-academic cooperation agreements with a total of 11 related regional institutions on campus to operate practical training programs for youth counselors.

The participating institutions in this agreement include Geumjeong Youth Training Center, Haeundae Youth Training Center, Sasang-gu Youth Center, Busan Women's Medium- and Long-term Youth Shelter, Suyeong-gu Youth Culture House, Busan Temporary Youth Shelter (fixed and mobile types), Busan Dong-gu Youth Counseling and Welfare Center, Haeundae-gu Youth Counseling and Welfare Center, Busanjin-gu Jeonpo Youth Center, and Busan Men's Short-term Youth Shelter, totaling 11 organizations.
Through this agreement, the Department of Counseling and Clinical Psychology at Dongmyung University plans to provide students pursuing youth counselor certification with practical field training opportunities, and to focus on nurturing talent equipped with the professional expertise and practical competence required in the field of regional youth welfare.
Each partner institution will be responsible for guiding and educating trainees, while the university will operate a systematic curriculum that integrates theory and practice.
Professor Kim Minjeong stated, "Through close cooperation with regional youth-related institutions, we will continue to produce professional youth counselors with a strong understanding of the field," adding, "The university will faithfully fulfill its role in strengthening expertise in the fields of youth welfare and counseling."
