According to the Korea Meteorological Administration, as of 5 a.m., the temperatures in major regions were as follows: Seoul -1.2°C, Incheon -0.9°C, Suwon -3.4°C, Chuncheon -2.3°C, Gangneung 4.1°C, Cheongju -0.7°C, Daejeon -2.2°C, Jeonju -1.0°C, Gwangju 0.3°C, Jeju 5.9°C, Daegu -1.1°C, Busan 5.1°C, Ulsan 4.0°C, and Changwon 3.9°C. Daytime highs are forecast to range between 6°C and 13°C.
In the Gyeonggi, Gangwon, and North Chungcheong regions, some areas may experience dense fog with visibility less than 200 meters. In inland areas of Gyeonggi Province, icy roads and black ice may occur, so extra caution is advised for drivers.
Fine dust levels are expected to be 'good' to 'moderate' nationwide due to smooth atmospheric dispersion. However, Sejong, North Chungcheong, Ulsan, and North Gyeongsang may temporarily reach 'bad' levels until the morning, and Busan may also see 'bad' levels in the morning.
Wave heights are forecast to be 0.5 to 2.0 meters in the East Sea, 0.5 to 1.0 meters in the West Sea, and 0.5 to 1.5 meters in the South Sea. In the offshore areas (within about 200 kilometers from the coastline), wave heights will range from 0.5 to 2.5 meters in the East Sea, 0.5 to 1.5 meters in the West Sea, and 0.5 to 2.0 meters in the South Sea.
