Ildong Pharmaceutical Launches Hangover Relief Drink 'Sul Hwak Kkaeneun Kkul Noni Extract'

Ildong Pharmaceutical announced on December 17 that it has launched a hangover relief drink called 'Sul Hwak Kkaeneun Kkul Noni Extract,' which is available at pharmacies.

The new product, 'Sul Hwak Kkaeneun Kkul Noni Extract,' is a "functional labeled food (mixed beverage)" that uses ingredients for hangover relief recognized by the Ministry of Food and Drug Safety.

Each serving (one stick) of this product contains 1,000 mg of noni extract (Nonitree), 1,000 mg of Hovenia dulcis fruit extract, 20 mg of refined honey, 500 mg of arginine, and 500 mg of taurine. The key ingredient, 'Nonitree,' is a patented substance for hangover relief, and its efficacy in reducing hangover-inducing substances and improving related symptoms has been proven through human clinical trials.

According to Ildong Pharmaceutical, in human trials, the group that consumed Nonitree showed a 7.1% greater reduction in blood acetaldehyde concentration 40 minutes after drinking alcohol compared to the control group. In addition, 12 hours after alcohol consumption, hangover-related symptoms such as abdominal pain and diarrhea improved by approximately 9% and 13%, respectively, in the Nonitree group.

An Ildong Pharmaceutical representative emphasized, "By using validated ingredients proven through human trials, we have enhanced the product's reliability, and the individually packaged stick format makes it convenient to carry and consume."
