This evaluation comprehensively considered the execution rate of the livelihood recovery consumer coupon program, its ripple effect on the local economy, residents’ satisfaction, and administrative capacity, focusing on the period from July to October. Yangyang County received high marks for its swift execution and systematic program management.

In particular, it was recognized as an exemplary case that village officials personally visited sites to assist with consumer coupon applications and registrations, and strengthened guidance and publicity to minimize inconvenience for residents, thereby implementing field-oriented administration.

The special grant of 100 million won secured through this selection will be reinvested in future projects to revitalize the local economy and stabilize livelihoods, and will be used for policies that residents can directly benefit from.

Tak Dongsoo, Acting County Governor of Yangyang, stated, “Being selected as an outstanding local government nationwide is the result of Yangyang County’s administrative direction, which places livelihood recovery as the top priority and seeks answers in the field, being officially recognized by the Ministry of the Interior and Safety. We will continue to rapidly implement livelihood policies that every resident can truly feel, creating tangible changes in the recovery of the local economy.”
