The 'Walking Challenge,' which began in 2022 and is now in its fourth year, is a participatory social contribution activity in which employees practice walking in their daily lives and donations are linked to the number of steps taken. This year’s challenge took place over four weeks from October 13 to November 9, with 180 employees participating and raising a total of 10 million won. The donation was used to purchase stationery and household items produced by Otista, a social enterprise that supports the creative activities of people with autism, and will be delivered to children from vulnerable groups both in Korea and abroad through Korea Food for the Hungry International.

Oh Sangwon, Vice President of KB Kookmin Bank Tech Group, stated, "This sharing was especially meaningful because it went beyond simply delivering a donation; through the 'Double Sharing Project,' we were able to double the impact." He added, "Seeing those who are dedicated to creating jobs and supporting the independence of people with autism, as well as deeply considering hunger issues both domestically and internationally, made me feel a great sense of responsibility."

Park Chanwook, Head of ESG Sharing Division at Hope Friends Korea Food for the Hungry International, said, "It is very meaningful that this sponsorship allows us to provide essential items to children from vulnerable groups as they prepare for the new school term," and added, "We will continue to expand sharing projects that bring real change to neighbors in need through ongoing collaboration with companies and social enterprises."
