Daemyung Sono Group Donates 10 Million KRW to Support Underprivileged Students in Hongcheon-gun

Supporting for 15 Years Since 2011
Total Donations Reach 150 Million KRW
Educational Opportunities for Around 1,000 Students
Including Multicultural, Grandparent-Headed, and Single-Parent Families

Daemyung Sono Group announced on December 16 that it has donated 10 million KRW to the Neobeu Nae Happiness Sharing Foundation to support students from underprivileged backgrounds in Hongcheon-gun, Gangwon Province.


The donation will be used through the Neobeu Nae Happiness Sharing Foundation to provide educational opportunities for students from multicultural families, grandparent-headed families, and single-parent families in the region.

Daemyung Sono Group began supporting underprivileged students in Hongcheon-gun in 2011, marking its 15th consecutive year of contributions. To date, the total accumulated donations have reached 150 million KRW, which has been used to support approximately 1,000 students.


A representative from Daemyung Sono Group stated, "Through the Daemyung Welfare Foundation, we have been supporting underprivileged students in the region for 15 years to help them grow up well and prepare for the future. We will continue to engage in social contribution activities that benefit the local community."


Meanwhile, Daemyung Sono Group, centered around the Daemyung Welfare Foundation, is actively involved in various social contribution activities, including support for underprivileged groups in the community, initiatives to improve the educational environment for the healthy development of children and adolescents, and programs to strengthen family relationships.
