Daejin University Holds 4th Graduation Ceremony for K-MOVE School University Consortium Program

72% of Trainees Successfully Matched with Overseas Employment

Daejin University (President Jang Seokhwan) announced on December 15 that it held the 4th graduation ceremony for the "Global Business Expert Training Program," a university consortium course under the K-MOVE School overseas employment training project organized by the Human Resources Development Service of Korea.

This graduation ceremony was a joint event for four universities-Daejin University, Sahmyook University, Duksung Women's University, and Seokyeong University-and took place on December 12 at Hong Myung Ki Hall of Sahmyook University. A total of 95 trainees, including 22 from Daejin University, completed the program on this day.

The "Global Business Expert Training Program" is a training initiative designed to cultivate practical, globally-minded talent that meets the demand for overseas employment. The 4th cohort, which began with overseas language training in June, consisted of a 600-hour intensive curriculum including job training, English education, and courses on local culture, safety, and regulations. The trainees completed customized education to enhance their global business skills and deepen their understanding of international work environments.

Jang Inho, Director of Student Success, stated, "Among the 22 trainees for the 2025 cohort, 16 have already secured overseas employment, achieving an employment matching rate of approximately 72%." He added, "Our goal is to complete overseas company matching for all trainees by the end of February 2026."

He further emphasized, "Starting in 2026, we will strengthen support for students seeking overseas employment by securing the 'Newly Designated University' project under the K-MOVE School overseas employment training program organized by the Human Resources Development Service of Korea."

Daejin University has continued its efforts to strengthen the global competencies of young people and expand overseas employment opportunities through a variety of international career support programs, including the K-MOVE School. The university plans to systematically operate overseas employment training programs linked to industry demand, customized career and employment consulting, and follow-up management programs to nurture globally competitive talent in the future.
