The Honam Voters' Association presented the award to Assemblywoman Kim during the 2025 year-end event held in Gwangju on December 12. The selection was made through a comprehensive evaluation of legislative activities and a fair review process.
The chairperson highly praised Assemblywoman Kim for her strong sense of national duty and responsibility, her dedication to legislative work, and her contributions to resolving local issues and enhancing residents' rights and interests. In particular, her proactive legislative activities and responsible performance in the Gwangju Seo-gu Council throughout 2025 were cited as key reasons for the award.
Assemblywoman Kim stated, "I owe this to the residents and fellow council members who have quietly supported my legislative work," adding, "I will remain true to my original intentions and continue to work to improve the lives of our residents through my legislative activities."
This award is the result of the Honam Voters' Association's regular evaluation, which is based on the principles of political reform and the restoration of morality, and is being recognized as a meaningful achievement both within and outside the local political community.
