The Dong-Eui University Artificial Intelligence Grand ICT Research Center (Director: Jung Seokchan) signed a memorandum of understanding on December 6 in Hong Kong with the Jiangxi University of Finance and Economics Hong Kong Alumni Association to strengthen cooperation in the fields of international information and communication technology (ICT) and artificial intelligence (AI).
The signing ceremony was attended by Jung Seokchan, Director of the Artificial Intelligence Grand ICT Research Center, Joseph Lim, President of the Jiangxi University of Finance and Economics Hong Kong Alumni Association, and other key officials.
Through this agreement, the two organizations agreed to expand research and exchanges based on new technologies such as digital twin, metaverse, and construction management.
The main points of the agreement include: △ Exchange of AI-based industrial automation technologies and R&D cooperation in the fields of digital twin, metaverse, and construction management; △ Building networks and creating ecosystems to promote the dissemination of technologies in related fields; △ Joint efforts for talent cultivation and human resource development in relevant sectors; △ Development of educational programs and information exchange in related areas; △ Mutual support and cooperation for various projects and events.
The Jiangxi University of Finance and Economics Hong Kong Alumni Association was established with honesty, knowledge, perseverance, and dedication as its core values, and aims to strengthen the network and professionalism among current students and graduates in Hong Kong.
More than 3,000 employees from manufacturing companies in the Shenzhen region of China, as well as professionals from finance, business, law, and academia, participate in regular networking, seminars, and social exchange programs, and the association also provides mentoring and corporate support programs.
Jung Seokchan, Director of the Center, stated, "This will serve as an important opportunity to strengthen international cooperation between the two organizations in ICT and AI," and added, "We will expand our global network through joint growth in the manufacturing, construction, and digital technology sectors."
The Artificial Intelligence Grand ICT Research Center is operated with support from the Ministry of Science and ICT and the Institute for Information & Communications Technology Planning & Evaluation as part of the Regional Intelligence Innovation Talent Development Project.
