The National Pukyong University and the Busan Metropolitan Office of Education’s Academic Achievement Development Institute jointly hosted the "2025 Administrator Career Education Capacity Enhancement Training" for vice principals of middle and high schools in the Busan area on December 12 at the Pukyong Convention Hall of the National Pukyong University.
This training is a follow-up cooperative project to the "Business Agreement for Strengthening Career Competency in Primary and Secondary Education Linkage," signed by the two institutions on November 5. It was organized to strengthen the leadership of school administrators and enhance career education strategies from a school management perspective in response to the rapidly changing career education environment.
On this day, Bang Daeuk, CEO of Daum Foundation, and Cho Daebeom, CEO of PlanE, delivered special lectures, presenting the direction of career education based on public leadership and entrepreneurial spirit that school administrators should possess. The lectures shared new perspectives and practical strategies necessary for designing and operating career education in schools.
The National Pukyong University also introduced career and entrepreneurship education programs that connect primary, middle, and high schools with universities, such as the RISE Project, the Southeast Region Entrepreneurship Experience Education Hub Center, and the Gyeongsang Region Education Donation Hub Center. The university also emphasized that collaboration with school administrators is a key element in establishing a Busan-style career education ecosystem.
Ha Myungshin, Vice President for External Affairs at the National Pukyong University and Head of the RISE Project Group, stated, "We will further advance the primary, secondary, and university linkage model based on the RISE Project in cooperation with the Office of Education," adding, "We will strive to create a career education environment where students can design their own futures."
Pukyong National University is jointly hosting career education training for middle and high school administrators with the Busan Metropolitan Office of Education.
