Achievements of Early Childhood Language Development Support
for Ensuring Equal Starting Points in Public Education
The Gangwon Special Self-Governing Provincial Office of Education held the "2025 Early Childhood Language Development Assessment and Therapy Support Project Performance Report Meeting" on December 15 at the Gangwon Special Self-Governing Provincial Office of Education Early Childhood Education Center.
This performance report meeting was organized to share the outcomes of the 2025 early childhood language development assessment and therapy support project, and to discuss future operational plans for the early childhood language development project by gathering feedback from participants of various positions, including principals, vice principals, and teachers.
The main agenda included: △ A progress report on the early childhood language development assessment and therapy support project (presented by Kim Soon-nam, Supervisor of the Early Childhood Education Team); △ A 2025 project performance report (presented by Lee Yoonkyung, Professor at Hallym University); and △ A project evaluation session.
Tak Jinwon, Director of Early Childhood and Elementary Education, stated, "I hope this performance report meeting will serve as a foundation for establishing future policies to strengthen early childhood language development education. We aim to enhance language education for preschool children to ensure equal starting points in education."
