LG Signature Unveils New Lineup at CES

LG Electronics will unveil a lineup of home appliances enhanced with artificial intelligence (AI) technology in the United States. Through its premium brand, LG Signature, which celebrates its 10th anniversary this year, the company aims to strengthen its position in the global market.


On December 15, LG Electronics announced that it will introduce the LG Signature lineup, further evolved with AI, at CES 2026, the world's largest consumer electronics and information technology exhibition, to be held in Las Vegas, USA, on January 6 (local time). By enhancing the core performance and user convenience of LG Signature products, the company intends to set a new standard for premium appliances and solidify its premium market presence globally.

LG Signature is LG Electronics' premium brand, characterized by differentiated performance achieved through technological innovation, refined design that stays true to the essentials, and intuitive usability never experienced before. Since first launching LG Signature in 2016, LG Electronics has established itself as a leader in premium appliances with innovative technologies.


The newly unveiled LG Signature lineup consists of 10 product categories: refrigerator, washing machine, dryer, washer-dryer, dishwasher, oven range, wall oven, hood, cooktop, and over-the-range (OTR) microwave with hood. By expanding its kitchen appliance lineup, the company has enabled a unified built-in design aesthetic.


Marking its 10th anniversary, LG Signature now features a wide range of AI-based convenience functions. The new LG Signature refrigerator is equipped with an AI voice recognition feature based on a large language model (LLM) that understands everyday conversations. For example, if a customer asks, "Hi LG, what mode should I use to store meat for about a week?" the AI recognizes the question, suggests the optimal mode for long-term meat storage, and sets it automatically.


The AI food management solution in the Smart InstaView refrigerator reduces the hassle of managing ingredients. The AI automatically recognizes food items entering and leaving the refrigerator via an internal camera and recommends personalized recipes based on the identified ingredients. The upgraded InstaView technology, now featuring transparent OLED, provides a cover screen that blends with the surrounding interior, making the space more sophisticated.


The 'Gourmet AI' feature in the oven range uses an internal camera to identify ingredients and recommends about 80 different recipes. When ingredients are placed inside and the oven is closed, the recommended menu appears on a 6.8-inch LCD screen. The AI browning alarm notifies the user when the croissant is baked to the selected level of doneness.

'AI CoreTech,' which combines LG Electronics' proprietary component technology with AI, has also been applied. The AI analyzes the product's usage environment and provides optimized modes, thereby enhancing both performance and energy efficiency. For example, the 'AI DD (Direct Drive) motor'-a hallmark of LG's washing machines and dryers-analyzes the weight, fabric type, and level of soiling in the laundry, then selects the optimal motion to protect the fabric during washing.


While maintaining the refined design identity that embodies the LG Signature philosophy, LG Electronics will also implement a customized strategy tailored to regional customer preferences. By offering products that meet diverse premium demands, the company plans to expand its customer base, strengthen market competitiveness, and reinforce its status as a global premium brand.


For example, in North America and the Middle East, where functionality, durability, and large capacity are valued, the company will introduce products that highlight sturdiness through the use of metal materials. In Asia and Europe, where harmonious interior design is emphasized, LG will focus on sophisticated aesthetics with subdued colors and matte finishes.
