Former Manager: "Worked as a Freelancer for One Year"
Allegations of Requests for Illegal Medical Acts, Including Proxy Prescriptions
It has been revealed that broadcaster Park Narae did not apply the four major social insurances to her former managers for one year.
According to the Munhwa Ilbo on December 13, while the managers were not provided with the four major social insurances, it is known that Park Narae herself, her mother, and her former boyfriend were enrolled from the beginning.

In an interview with the Munhwa Ilbo, a former manager claimed, "I worked with Park Narae since September last year, but my repeated requests to be enrolled in the four major social insurances were ignored. The only people who had insurance were Park Narae, her mother, and her former boyfriend." It is reported that these managers worked essentially as freelancers, receiving monthly salaries with only a 3.3% tax deduction and without a formal contract.
Park Narae's side did not respond to related inquiries. Businesses employing workers are required to enroll them in the National Pension, Health Insurance, Employment Insurance, and Industrial Accident Compensation Insurance. Failure to do so may result in fines and criminal penalties. The Ministry of Labor has recently strengthened supervision of businesses suspected of using 'fake 3.3' employment practices, focusing on whether they are evading the employment status of workers.
The former manager also stated that even the profit-sharing contract originally proposed by Park Narae (either 70:30 or 80:20) was not honored. The actual payment received was only about 3 million won per month, and even then, the four major social insurances were only applied after a year, coinciding with the point when the manager was belatedly registered as an internal director during the agency's process of registering as a pop culture and arts planning business.
Allegations have also been raised that Park Narae requested illegal medical acts from her former manager. In an interview with Channel A on December 12, the former manager said, "I was asked to obtain a prescription by proxy, and when I refused, I received a message saying, 'Since you've already done it once, you can't escape now.'" He submitted the related messages as evidence in a complaint to the police. Park Narae's side has not made any official statement regarding this matter either.
Additionally, the former manager described in detail the conflict with Park Narae during the settlement process. He explained that while Park Narae attempted to reach a settlement by making emotional appeals and sharing personal stories, the financial settlement and issues of responsibility were not resolved. The former manager said, "Park Narae gave the impression of apologizing in passing, but there was no official apology."
