Hyundai Motor Company and Kia are transforming Anseong in Gyeonggi Province into a key hub for the future mobility industry, investing a total of 1.2 trillion won to establish a battery research and development (R&D) hub. This marks Anseong's evolution from a simple provincial city to a central base for future mobility.

On November 28, Hyundai Motor Company and Kia announced at the Anseong 5th General Industrial Complex that they held a topping-out ceremony for the "Future Mobility Battery Anseong Campus" and will begin building the battery R&D infrastructure.

The Future Mobility Battery Anseong Campus is Hyundai Motor Group's first battery-specialized R&D center, comprehensively verifying battery design and process technologies developed by Hyundai Motor Company and Kia. The facility is being constructed within the Anseong 5th General Industrial Complex, covering a total floor area of 111,000 square meters. The construction progress is currently about 30%, with completion targeted for the end of next year.

An industry insider explained, "The Future Mobility Battery Anseong Campus is not a manufacturing-centered industrial complex, but a technology hub attracting highly skilled researchers and partner companies. This will serve as a turning point for the transformation of Anseong's overall industrial and economic structure."

In particular, the establishment of the Future Mobility Battery Campus is expected to have a positive impact on nearby residential areas. As a large-scale R&D facility moves in, more employees and partner company staff will relocate to the area, naturally increasing demand for housing close to workplaces. Along with the expansion of the industrial base, local commercial districts and amenities are also expected to become more vibrant, leading to an overall improvement in the regional residential environment.

Against this backdrop, the Ayang District is being recognized as the optimal residential area. The Future Mobility Battery Anseong Campus is just a 10-minute drive from the 5th General Industrial Complex, offering excellent proximity between home and work. The district already boasts a well-established living environment with educational and convenience facilities in place.

In fact, the Ayang District is highly preferred for actual residence due to its well-developed infrastructure, including Emart, Hanaro Mart, CGV, and Gyeonggi Provincial Medical Center Anseong Hospital. It also offers abundant natural surroundings such as Ayang 2 Neighborhood Park, Aronggae Cultural Park, and the Anseong Stream, making it an attractive and comfortable place to live.

Within these favorable residential conditions, the final supply complex in the Ayang District, "Anseong Ayang Geumseong Baekjo Yemi-ji," is attracting attention as a direct beneficiary of the demand generated by the battery campus. Its location is highly sought-after within the district, and the complex stands out for its brand and product competitiveness.

"Anseong Ayang Geumseong Baekjo Yemi-ji" boasts a "triple school zone" with Baekseong Elementary School, Anseong Middle School (scheduled to relocate by 2027), and a planned high school site all within walking distance. The central commercial district is also nearby, enabling a convenient one-stop lifestyle.

The "Yemi-ji" brand by Geumseong Baekjo has proven its product quality and construction capability by achieving sell-outs in major metropolitan housing districts such as Dongtan 2 New Town, Geomdan New Town, Hwaseong Bibong District, and Pyeongtaek Godeok District. Building on this brand competitiveness, "Anseong Ayang Geumseong Baekjo Yemi-ji" is also expected to be developed as a complex that embodies Geumseong Baekjo's unique design, architecture, and technology.

All units are oriented to the south and feature a 4-bay cross-ventilation layout for excellent sunlight and airflow. Buyers can choose from various options tailored to their lifestyles, including 4-room (with an alpha room) designs and specialized storage systems such as pantries and entrance storage (available as paid options).

Additionally, residents can choose between integrated or separate layouts for bedrooms 1 and 2, and finishing materials for flooring, living rooms, and kitchen countertops can be selected from "Natural Classic" and "Bright Grace" styles, further enhancing residential satisfaction.

Furthermore, the complex is designed as a 100% park-style development with no vehicles on the ground level, maximizing openness through efficient building placement, wide spacing between buildings, and unobstructed sightlines. Drop-off zones and a "Mom's Station" will also be provided for the safe commute of children.

"Anseong Ayang Geumseong Baekjo Yemi-ji" will be built in Block B2 of the Ayang Residential Development District in Anseong, Gyeonggi Province. The complex will consist of eight buildings, ranging from one basement level to 25 floors above ground, with a total of 657 units, all offering an exclusive area of 84 square meters. Contracts are currently being accepted on a first-come, first-served basis with designated units.

Meanwhile, "Anseong Ayang Geumseong Baekjo Yemi-ji" will hold a "Grand Prize Event for Anseong Citizens" on December 13 and 27, offering special prizes such as Samten By Me, Dyson vacuum cleaners, coffee machines, humidifiers, and more to visitors of the model home.

The model home is located in Oksan-dong, Anseong, Gyeonggi Province.
