According to the Korea Meteorological Administration on December 7, the morning low on December 8 is forecast to range from minus 5 to 7 degrees Celsius, with highs between 4 and 11 degrees Celsius. In Seoul, the morning low will be 0 degrees Celsius, and the high will be 5 degrees Celsius. The metropolitan area and Gangwon Province will be mostly clear. In the Chungcheong region, skies will clear from the morning, while southern regions and Jeju Island are expected to see clear weather from the afternoon.


On December 9, morning lows will range from minus 8 to 2 degrees Celsius, and highs will be between 4 and 11 degrees Celsius. The entire country will be mostly clear, although the metropolitan area and Gangwon Province will see intermittent cloudiness from the afternoon.


The atmosphere will remain very dry, especially along the east coast, and strong winds are expected for the time being. With strong winds, even small sparks could lead to large fires, so extra caution is needed to prevent various types of fires.
