[Tomorrow's Weather] Mild Winter Nationwide... Seoul Daytime High Reaches 12°C

On Sunday, December 7, the cold will ease nationwide and daytime temperatures are expected to rise significantly.

According to the Korea Meteorological Administration on December 6, the morning low on December 7 is forecast to range from minus 4 to 8 degrees Celsius, while the daytime high will range from 8 to 17 degrees Celsius. These temperatures are similar to or slightly higher than the seasonal average.

In particular, in the inland areas of the Gyeongsang region, the temperature difference between day and night is expected to be around 15 degrees Celsius, leading to rapid changes in temperature.

The expected morning lows in major cities are as follows: Seoul 3°C, Incheon 5°C, Suwon 2°C, Chuncheon 0°C, Gangneung 5°C, Cheongju 3°C, Daejeon 4°C, Jeonju 5°C, Gwangju 3°C, Daegu 0°C, Busan 8°C, and Jeju 11°C.

The expected daytime highs are: Seoul 12°C, Incheon 11°C, Suwon 13°C, Chuncheon 9°C, Gangneung 14°C, Cheongju 14°C, Daejeon 14°C, Jeonju 15°C, Gwangju 15°C, Daegu 15°C, Busan 16°C, and Jeju 19°C.

While most of the country will see considerable cloud cover, dense fog with visibility less than 200 meters is expected in the morning, especially in the inland areas of Gyeonggi Province and the inland regions of Chungcheong Province.

The atmosphere is expected to remain very dry, especially along the east coast, for the time being. Therefore, areas under dry weather advisories-including mountainous and coastal areas of Gangwon Province, northeastern mountainous and coastal areas of North Gyeongsang Province, Daegu, and parts of South Gyeongsang Province-should take extra precautions to prevent various types of fires.

Fine dust concentrations are forecast to reach 'bad' levels in the Seoul metropolitan area, western Gangwon, Chungcheong region, Gwangju, North Jeolla, Daegu, and North Gyeongsang, while other regions will remain at 'normal' levels.
